CHANGES IN EMPLOYMENT OF FOREIGNERS

On 01.05.2017, the Act No. 82/2017 Coll. on Amending and Supplementing the Act No. 404/2011 Coll. on Residence of Foreigners and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts (“Act“) entered into effect. The aim of the adoption of the Act is to implement (i) the directive on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for the purpose of employment as seasonal workers and (ii) the directive on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals in the framework of an intra-corporate transfer, into the Slovak legislation.
